Ashoka Garden police have arrested a 27-year-old man for sexually exploiting a 26-year-old woman at Semra Kalan.The accused had blackmailed the victim using her indecent video.
Police said that the accused Baijnath Vishwakarma recorded a video while the victim was taking a bath and used the video to blackmail her and sexually exploited her.
The accused used to sexually exploit her for the past six months by threatening to make her video viral. The victim braved to report the incident to her husband and later a complaint was lodged by the victim with the Ashoka Garden police.
The victim hails from Raisen and rented accused’s house around one year ago. She had stated in her complaint that the accused took her video while she was having a bath and later used the same video to blackmail her. After taking the video, the accused threatened her and sexually assaulted her and continued with the evil intention until the victim reported the exploitation to her husband.
Based on the complaint and after the preliminary investigation, the police registered a case under section 376(2) D and 506 of the IPC and nabbed the accused.
The accused works with a private firm. The crime record of the nabbed accused would be searched in the further investigation.
The police would go into the details of the mobile phone to find out if other victims were exploited by the accused in the past. The company where he works would be contacted and employees and employer would be questioned regarding his involvement
