Cyber cell of State police nabbed a 19-year-old youth for creating fake Instagram profile of a minor girl using her photographs and details in Sehore.The miscreant wanted to have friendship with the minor victim and created fake profile for the same. The accused Shahid Mansoori belongs to Sehore .
A plaint was lodged with the cyber cell and in her complaint, she stated that she was not acquainted with the accused.
The obscene photographs using the same profile victim’s facebook friends and family members connected through facebook have been posted.
Victim has also claimed that the pics used were obtained from her social media accounts and she was not aware when the photographs were taken.
After the preliminary probe, it was found that Shahid was behind the fake Instagram profile and was detained and when he was quizzed he confessed that he wanted to became friend with the victim but was not able to find any means for that and later got an idea to create fake Instagram profile using her photograph.
The accused runs a food stall and completed his high school.
The police have registered a case under section 66 C of the IT Act
