A 30-year old man was arrested for producing forged documents to buy electronic goods on installments on Tuesday. Investigation Officer, Sub-Inspector RM Shukla said that the accused produced documents in the name of Rajesh but when the employees of the Bajaj Finance Company investigated according to the company’s normal procedure, it was found that the documents provided by the accused are forged and the actual name of the accused is Syed Masrur Ali.
Shukla further added that the neighbours confirmed the details of the accused which helped in establishing his identity and later the whole truth was revealed in the investigation. Bajaj Finance involved in providing field inspection report lodged a complaint with the Jehangirabad police regarding the fake documents. After the preliminary investigation, the accused was nabbed by the police. A case has been registered.
