The police arrested a person who had absconded after killing an industrialist in his factory. The police are interrogating him about the reasons of the murder even after executing a compromise with the industrialist.

According to police, an old employee of the factory, Avdesh Sharma, had shot factory owner Rajeev Bansal dead, resident of Tansen road, last afternoon in front  of IIITM.

The accused was not happy with the compromise with Rajveer Bansal. He said that he had to take Rs 24,000 from Rajveer but the police pressured him to take only Rs 8,000 and sign the compromise. After taking the money, he purchased a revolver and went to the factory to kill Rajveer, but there he found Rajeev Bansal, son of Rajveer Bansal and shot him dead.

Following the murder of Rajeev, the Chamber of Commerce and other traders' organisation were in anger. Keeping in mind that the traders can express their anger before Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan on his visit to Gwalior on Friday, the police conducted raids and took his family members and relatives into custody.

As a result, police succeeded in nabbing the accused near Mela Ground under Gola Ka Mandir police station.
