A 24-year-old student committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at Vijay Nagar under Koh-e-Fiza PS area on Saturday.
Police said the deceased Naresh Malviya was found hanging with the ceiling and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.
The deceased hailed from Shajapur and was preparing for competitive examinations. He used to live in a rented house with friends. Police have not found any clear-cut reason behind the suicide so far and have started further investigation.
The body was sent for the post mortem and a case under Section 174 of the CrPC was registered.
On the other hand, a 20-year-old youth was electrocuted at Izghiri village under Gunga police station area on Saturday.
The deceased Ramkishan was electrocuted while working in the evening on Saturday and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. It was an accident due to negligence or the death occurred accidentally would be investigated.
The body was sent for the post-mortem after the preliminary investigation.Police have lodged cases under various sections of IPC.
