Shahpura police have booked a miscreant for duping a man to the tune of Rs 7 lakh in the name of facilitating flat in project developed by Bhopal Development Authority (BDA).
Police said that the victim Ranu Malviya has provided Rs 7 lakh to the accused in parts for flat in Saket Nagar but later found that he was duped by the accused. The accused have taken Rs 7 lakh in the past two years from the victim. The victim is a resident of Arera Colony.
The victim in his complaint stated that on August 2, 2016 he met the accused Rupesh Sirode who assured him to facilitating flat in Saket Nagar developed by Bhopal Development Authority (BDA).
later, when the victim enquired he found that no flat has been booked in his name and lodged a complaint regarding the fraud with the Shahpura police.
