On the instructions of the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Planning, Economics and Statistics department has issued an order that the amount of Assembly Constituency Area Development Plan can be used for protection from Coronavirus pandemic and its prevention.
On the recommendation of the MLAs, Collectors will be able to use the amount of this plan in various Corona prevention works.The Department of Planning, Economic Statistics has asked all District Collectors to use this amount in buying infrared thermometers, PPE kits, Corona testing kits, ventilators, isolation/quarantine ward construction, masks, gloves, sanitisers or other health equipments recommended by the Ministry of Health.
The criteria to determine material will be in accordance with the Public Health and Family Welfare Department. The purchasing activity will be carried out with full transparency as per the procedure prescribed by the department.
The Chief Medical and Health Officer will maintain record of material. It is essential to do audit work under rules of State Government.
