Before the urban body elections and panchayat elections of Madhya Pradesh, the process of removing the officers continuing at the same place for years has started on the instructions of the State Election Commission.
With the introduction of the code of conduct, the exercise to remove the SP, DSP and ASP, who have been stuck in the same place for 3 years, has intensified.
It is reported that on the instructions of the Election Commission, the home department has prepared a list of SP, ASP and DSPs of many directly connected districts who are continuing in one post for more than three years and in the civic-panchayat elections. Those to be removed include the names of one SP, 12 ASP and 56 DSP.
It is reported that Rajgarh SP Pradeep Sharma, who has been in the post for more than 3 years, can be removed. Sharma was posted on 2019, in such a situation, he can be transferred as per the instructions of the commission.
Apart from this, the exercise of removing the officers of Revenue and UDD is also going on. Under this, Dy Commissioner, Addil Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner and CMO from UDD, Tehsildars can be transferred.
