A meeting of office bearers of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) – minority cell was held here on Thursday at party’s State headquarters, Pandit Deendayal campus.
Work plan for the two day National Executive meeting of the cell to be held here on June 24 and 25 was prepared during the meet.
Addressing the meeting State organisational general secretary Arvind Menon said, “The party by organising the National Executive meeting of the cell in the State wishes to build confidence in the minority communities. The meet in Bhopal would remain in the minds of the people for long due to the important decisions that would be taken during it.”
Menon further said that the occasion would be utilised to showcase the achievements and works done by Shivraj Singh Chouhan led BJP Government of the State in the interest of minorities by organising an exhibition.
This would inspire the minority cell workers of the party and they would go back to the community with more confidence to propagate for the party, he added.
State in-charge of the cell Vijendra Singh Sisodia while lauding the efforts of the cell during the recently held general elections and assembly elections held last year said, “The cell played very important role in the victory of party and strengthening the party at booth level.”
State president of the cell Hidayatullah Sheikh said, “The cell organisation of the state is the strongest in the country.
During the National Executive meet, the cell workers from all over the country would be made aware about the good works done by the BJP Government in the interest of minority community.”
Sheikh further said that the minority cell would continue to act as bridge between the minority community and the BJP and it is result of the efforts done by the Chouhan Government in the interest of minority community that the community no longer considers BJP as untouchable.
