A 25-year-old nursing student died under mysterious circumstances at Rajharsh Colony on Monday. The deceased administered himself poisonous injection at his friend’s room and in this connection, Kolar police has started investigation.
According to police, Gaurav Kumar Sahu was taken to a hospital in an unconscious state by his friend, Baijnath, where he died during treatment in the night.
Police said that the deceased was a nursing student and used to live in a hostel. On Monday, he had gone to meet his friend Baijnath where he committed suicide by administering himself with poisonous injection and later he died around 10.
Later, it was found that the friend who brought the deceased went missing and is still unreachable.
A mobile phone has been recovered from the spot which would help in revealing the reason of death and investigation would be done to find that the deceased committed suicide or he was killed.
After the preliminary investigation, the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
Meanwhile, a 60-year-old man committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance at Islampura under Talaiya police station area on Monday.
The deceased, identified as Anwar-Ul-Haq, used to remain ill and had been suffering for long.
As he was depressed, he committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance.
After the preliminary investigation, the body was sent for post-mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
