Demanding CBI investigation in the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) scams, National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) and Youth Congress activists forcefully locked several educational institutes in the State capital on Saturday.

Hundreds of NSUI and Youth Congress activists thronged at Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism in MP Nagar and disrupted the classes. The activists raised anti-Government slogans and asked the students to support the protest. Besides Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism, Motilal Vigyan Mahavidyalay (MVM), Unique College and Ravindra Colleges were also forced to close by the activists.

District president of NSUI Virendra Mishra told that several protests have been held demanding CBI investigation in the MPPEB examination scam but the State Government is not willing to pay heed to the demands. The protest is aimed to muster support of the youths. The future of bright students has been messed up and all the activists involved in the protest want justice for these students. Mishra told that NSUI also demands for the ‘cancellation’ of all the admissions by ‘unfair means’ and all those involved in facilitating and benefitting from the scam should be given harshest punishment possible.

lok Sabha Youth Congress vice-president Sanjay Verma told that 10 teams of 10 member each were formed to visit the colleges of the city and would close the colleges which were found open and disrupt the normal routine of the colleges but the colleges where examinations were conducted were not forced to close by the activists.
