Activists of the National Student Union of India (NSUI) protested against the Prime Minister Narendra Modi by burning his effigy at the party headquarters on Friday. Hundreds of activists participated in the protest in the leadership of NSUI District President Ashutosh Chouksey.

On the occasion, NSUI District President Ashutosh Chouksey told that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi had claimed before the elections he would not tolerate corruption and would also stop others from supporting corruption.

He had claimed that he would be the watchman (choukidaar) of the country and would also give his life for stopping the corruption.

He had said that he would bring the black money back from the foreign countries but the income tax department had revealed this on September 22, 2014 that, two prominent rich families of the country had made around nine transactions in the account of PM Narendra Modi, he added.

Chouksey alleged that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has benefited the selected businessmen with demonetisation and has troubled the common people of the country.

The decision of demonetisation is against the 99 percent people of the country.

Modi has benefitted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) by supporting the businessmen. NSUI’s State spokesperson Vivek Tripathi alleged that according to the income tax department, several businessmen had made nine transactions of Rs 40 crores within six months in the account of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He added that PM Modi should make a statement regarding these transactions. The NSUI would raise its voice against this issue in the leadership of Rahul Gandhi and would aware the people about this.
