In college and University exams, there will be no possibility to do cheating through hi-tech sources. Now, through advance technology high security technology jammer will be used to stop the cheating in exams.
After the installation of this hi-tech security device in exams, mobiles, electronic devices and other gadgets will not work in examination centres.
In this Connection University Grant Commission (UGC) has instructed all the universitie’s Vice-Chancellors to install the jammer.
Indian government Joint secretary (Security) Arti Bhatnagars letter was given as an example and according to that High Education Institutes were instructed to install the jammer.
In the examination centres Indian government has made different rules in which the clear provisions have been illustrated.
University Grant commission have said through letter that the organisations which are conducting exams have to install the jammer and the approval has given to all universities but it is up to universities that they should follow the policy.
Jammer has work like Wi-Fi and it has limited area where it works.
Jammer block the mobile and radio waves, as we enter in that area where the jammer is installed there mobile signals can be jammed and it will also stop the incoming and outgoing messages.
There were so many cases have happened earlier where the students were doing cheating through electronic devices. Now through jammer we can stop all such type of activities.
According to UGC Secretary Professor S Jaspal, letters have been sent to all the Vice-Chancellor of respective universities to install the jammer and stop the cheating in exams.
