From the last six years of its inception, Nirbhaya One Stop Crisis Management Centre for Women run by MP Anusuchit Jati Vikas Evam Kalyan Samiti has given help to more than a thousand women and girls. The centre at Ward no. 6, gas claim court opposite Taj Mahal Shahjanabaad Bhopal works towards providing legal and medical aid, shelter, protection, security and other such facilities to women under one-roof.
As per the latest data released by the centre hundred cases have been solved in the last one year. Functioning successfully under the Directorate of Women Empowerment, the centre works 24 hours aiding victims of rape, dowry harassment, domestic violence, human trafficking, cyber crime and other related issues.
However, victims from far off places find it difficult to approach the centre for which Director Nirbhaya Shelter Home Sher Afzal Khan has proposed the government, to open two more centers Sehore and Vidisha districts because there are not such kind of Shelter Home.
Most of the cases getting registered at NOSCMCW pertain to domestic violence followed by harassment cases. The officials at the centre explained that counseling sessions help women to decide the mode of action that has to be taken.

Centre Counselor Samar Khan said they keep following the cases registered with the centre to ensure that the complainants are safe and leading a happy life. She said there is lack of grant for this project Government is paying only for five inmates and we are giving Shelter to 15 to 20 women every month apart from we are giving 24 hours for this centre from last 7 years , not only we are getting salary nor our staff.
