The conditions prevailing over the central part of the State have caused a change in the usual weather pattern, obstructing cold conditions to exist in the State for the past 5-6 days, said Met department officials.
No significant change would be witnessed in the next 2-3 days and after two days if the system would move conditions would change and cold conditions would be witnessed. The change would not be significant and later it is likely that the cold conditions would turn harsh and temperatures would dip at lower levels.
City recorded day temperature 6 degree Celsius above the normal temperature at 29.9 degree Celsius on Wednesday while the night temperature was recorded with an increase of around 1 degree Celsius at 12.3 degree Celsius.
Met department has maintained the warning of fog in Chambal division, Gwalior, Datia, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Rewa and Satna districts in the nex t24 hours. Rewa recorded the lowest temperature for the second consecutive day and recorded night temperature at 7 degree Celsius.
In the past 24 hours Sagar and Gwalior divisions witnessed significant decrease in the temperatures. Chambal division which witnessed decrease in the temperatures on Monday witnessed increase in the temperatures in the past 24 hours.
City recorded day temperature at 29.2 degree Celsius while the night temperature was recorded at 11.4 degree Celsius.
Among the major cities Indore recorded day temperature at 29.4 degree Celsius while the night temperature was recorded at 13 degree Celsius. Gwalior recorded day temperature at 30 degree Celsius which was 8 degree Celsius above normal temperature, on Tuesday same deviation was recorded in Gwalior when day temperature was recorded 8 degree above the normal temperature.
Wind speed was witnessed around 12 km /hr on Wednesday. The day temperature would be recorded around 30 degree Celsius and night temperature would be witnessed around 12 degree Celsius.
