Union Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Rajiv Pratap Rudy pointed out that the court has taken cognizance in the corruption case involving National Herald newspaper and asserted that there is no political motive behind it. Rudy expressed these views after inaugurating the AISECT – NSDC Multi Skill Centre here on Saturday.

There are corruption charges against Congress president Sonia Gandhi and his deputy Rahul Gandhi. The matter is sub-judice. If somebody is facing charges, would they not allow Parliament to functionIJ Rudy told media here. He said that the Congress are leveling allegations on the matter and not allowing Parliament to function.

By using inappropriate terms for the Prime Minister and the Finance Minister, Congress leaders are trying to prove that they are innocent. However, they must remember that the country is watching their conduct, he said.

Rudy was talking to media after inaugurating country’s biggest skill development and ICT Educational Technical Services’ network AISECT – NSDC multi skill centre said, “The BJP Government of the centre has fully focused on education and have always given preference to degree. Now days there are youths with degrees but due to lack of skill they are not employed. We are working to enhance skill and for that created a framework and are making efforts to bring it into system.”

Rudy further said that understanding the importance of skill development the BJP government of the centre for the first time created Skill Development and Entrepreneurship ministry that would organize many activities in the field of skill development.

AISECT Chairman Santosh Chaubey speaking on the occasion informed the gathering about the works done by the institute in the field of skill development during the past thirty years.
