Senior BJP leader and former Chief Minister Uma Bharti did not find a place in the crucial party committees for the upcoming Assembly elections announced by BJP State president Narendra Singh Tomar here on Saturday.
The omission of Bharati's name has been attributed by political observers as an evidence of severe factionalism in BJP which, unlike its arch rival Congress, has been usually characterised to be free from it.
