Resentment is brewing not only in Jabalpur but also among the citizens of Mahakaushal and Vindhya region over the worrying condition of air services in Jabalpur. While Jabalpur was once connected by air to major cities of the country, today despite the construction of a newly airport, it is waiting for flights to various places.

Citizens of the entire Mahakaushal and Vindhya region's districts from Jabalpur used to take advantage of air services to go to various places, but now they are forced to travel by road or by air to other cities, spending more time and expense. For the last few months, the citizens of Jabalpur and Vayu Seva Sangharsh Samiti held several meetings on the plight of Jabalpur's air services.

Letters were written to the Prime Minister, the Union Aviation Minister and the Chief Minister of the state to this effect, but no one has yet addressed this issue. But no positive initiative has been taken.Himanshu Khare, convener of Vayu Seva Sangharsh Samiti, Jabalpur, said that industrialists, businessmen, doctors, advocates, patients undergoing treatment, youth etc are sad about the air services of Jabalpur and Jabalpur, which has been waiting for investment for many years, is now in the air services.

The absence of flight services is having an adverse effect on the city as large industrial groups are hesitant in investing in Jabalpur due to the absence of flight services.

Vayu Seva Sangharsh Samiti will soon hold a one-day symbolic protest for this purpose and after that will perform a Jagrati Yagya to awaken the Union Aviation Minister, with the hope that the Minister will be attracted to the situation in Jabalpur and Jabalpur will be restored as before. Air services can also be started for Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Pune and other cities. Committee members Baldeep Maini, Shankar Nagdev, Hemraj Aggarwal, Abhishek Dhyani, Jitendra Pachauri, Deepak Sethi, Pankaj Maheshwari, Rakesh Srivastava, PG Najpande, Manu Tiwari, Arun Pawar, Anil Aggarwal CA, Advocate Ravindra Srivastava Abhishek Jain etc.

The Aviation Minister has again been requested to take initiative to connect Jabalpur with the major cities, otherwise Vayuseva Sangharsh Samiti will launch an intense agitation.
