The administration has not filed any FIR against the crowd including the women and children who had attacked government officials who had two days ago gone there to remove encroachment.
The crowd had attacked the government officers including the SDM Lahar Vivek K V when he reached in the ward number 14 of Lahar Nagar Palika area to remove the encroachment and to shift the small statue of Bhimrao Ambedkar which was kept by few local people with the intention to encroach the government land and also the private land.
A complaint was lodged by some people to SDM Lahar Vivek K V that some people have encroached the government land and also the private land and have placed the statue of Bhimrao Ambedkar on the land and are beginning the construction around the statue. When the SDM Lahar Vivek K V and other government officials were shifting the statue towards the house of the person who was encroaching government land suddenly a big crowd started pelting stones and cow dung on the JCB machine and also set a mud hut on fire and attacked the administration with the sticks.
Immediately a big police force was called and any how the conditions of brawl came in control. SDM Vivek K V told The Pioneer that when we told the crowd that a police case will be filed against the attackers they removed the statue of Bhimrao Ambedkar themselves and kept in their area.
The administration didn’t file any case against the attackers as there were women and children in the crowd who were misguided by some people and later the crowd agreed to remove the statue of Dr Ambedkar and let the government land free.
