Mismanagement was witnessed on the first day of the Shahi Snan at Simhastha, as the officials lacked coordination. Only devotees were at the receiving end; they faced problems at almost all parts of the Simhastha site.
The devotees were stopped at around 8 kms away from the Simhastha site and thus they could not reach the ghats. Almost all the ghats seemed empty, as crowd of devotees could not reach there. Only saints from different Akhadas had peaceful Shahi Snan at the ghats.
Even the media persons faced problems as the entry passes provided to the journalists were not accepted by the police personnel. The cops told the media persons that their entry is not allowed inside the venue.
