Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislator and spokesman Vishwas Sarang criticised the Congress on Tuesday for proposing no-confidence motion against the State Government.
“The no-confidence motion is a cruel joke played upon people of the State by Congress. The party is short of issues and it is not able to accept the development of Madhya Pradesh. It is to
prevent this development that the Congress is playing
narrow politics by proposing no-confidence motion against the Government,” Sarang said.
“The false no-confidence motion brought by the Opposition party would not stand in front of the affection and trust that people of the State have reposed in
the Chief Minister,” he remarked.
Targeting the Opposition leader Ajay Singh, he said, “The Opposition leader should first get a confidence vote from his own party before doing politics in the State. Congress workers have lost their trust in party leadership because the party has been only wrecking the economy by its corruption and making false promises to the poor since independence.”
“The Congress is so blinded by its false no-confidence motion that it cannot believe that people of the state are happy and prosperous. This is the result of good governance, corruption-free Government, welfare schemes of the State Government and untiring efforts of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan,” Sarang said.
