Many students of the Government school have not yet received the books provided to them free of cost.
According to sources, at some places there is delay in the distribution of school books and at some places the books are shortage and are not available.
Madhya Pradesh Textbook Corporation is responsible for the printing of the books and distributing to the students of government school and is also made available in the open market for sale.
Sources said that there is delay in the distribution of the books due to the lack of coordination and management between the book printers, officers of the Madhya Pradesh Textbook Corporation and MD of the Corporation.
The new management of the Corporation has also stopped the payment of the printers and the number of publication of books has also been reduced.
Due to the reduction in the publication of books for government schools many students will not be available to get the free books in the coming months and next year.
One of the publishers told The Pioneer that previously during the time of MD Manish Singh there was no problem of publishing and also any problems was cleared timely and there was proper coordination between the publisher officers of the Corporation, but presently there is no coordination between the printers and management of the Corporation and besides helping the printers the management is harassing the printers for unknown reasons.
