A spontaneous Kathak performance was presented on Friday. It was held on Department of Culture's YouTube Channel.
Nivedita Pandey from Indore gave a wondrous Kathak performance. She performed Krishna Leela to start off her wondrous presentation. Her footwork and wondrous expressions marked their beautiful performance. She undoubtedly maintained the purity of Kathak performance in their presentation.
An excellent blend of sensuous movements and graceful footwork with absolute control on rhythm was the performance by the dancers enchanted the audience a lot.
Then she performed pure kathak. This performance was very rhythmical and filled with lot of enthralling footworks that was also enjoyed by the audience. It was a feast for the classical dance lovers.
She presented the colourful shades of Kathak with the flawless performance of Thumri, Tarana and baitki also. The dancer gave a mesmerizing performance. The energetic performance and early proficiency in the mathematical aspects of Kathak mesmerized the audiences at the show.
Besides, tabla recital by Vishal Shinde from Ujjain was presented. This was followed with Lok Gaayan by Pavan Arya from Malwa, Classical singing by Akshat Singh from Bhopal and more. In view of the worldwide crisis of Coronavirus, a creative initiative is taken by the Culture Department Madhya Pradesh Government by connecting the artists of the country and State, which has received an encouraging response.
The writers, poets and artists invited by the Department of Culture from time to time in its events, were requested to send their creative act for the society on their behalf in this hour of crisis.
