The orientation programme of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Bhopal is being organised here from Wednesday. Notably, along with the orientation programme an Alumni Meet will also be organised for the old students to come together and share their experiences.
Notably, the students of current batch are welcomed through the orientation programme. The orientation programme is being organised to inform the students of new batch about the institute and for this a programme was held on the first day of orientation. Further, an introduction session of the new students was held on the first day of the programme.
During the first day, a short film on NIFT was also screened to acquaint the students about the institution. Further, a brief introduction of the institute was addressed by US Tolia the centre director of NIFT, Bhopal.
later the alumni of the institute shared their experiences and about other opportunities with the students of the current batch. Notably, NIFT is one of the reputed fashion institutes of the country and tries to give the best to its students. Bhopal centre is the latest auditions and the students are taking interest to make a career in fashion industry.
Further the students were made aware about the various academic programme that they will be studying during the session. On the second day of the orientation programme, i.e. on Thursday the students will go on a city tour. Further, they will visit to Bhimbetka. The orientation programme will have a grand closure with the Alumni Meet on Friday.
On the first day of the orientation programme, Kalpana Shrivastava Commissioner, Women Empowerment Department, and Akilesh Pandey, Chairman Madhya Pradesh Private Universities Regulatory Commission, Bhopal were present as the chief guests of the programme.
