The new voters of the State will now be issued with the Plastic Verification Cards (PVC ID Cards), the colour Voter ID cards. With the implementation of the directions given by Election Commission of India, the process of issuing PVC ID cards began here on June 1.
Notably, the names of the first time voters, who have completed their 18 years till January 1 2014, have already been registered in the new voters list. These new voters were also given the opportunity to cast their votes in the lok Sabha elections 2014 through a brief review.
But, for those who were unable to register their names in the new voters list till January 1 2014, and other voters whose name have not yet been registered in the voters list they can apply for Form no 6. The respective form is
available at SDM office, Tehsildar, Booth level Officer, Voters Help Centre. Moreover, the new voters can apply online as well on www.ceomadhyapradesh.nic.in.
Further, the online facility is also useful for those voters whose voter IDs have misplaced and require a duplicate voter ID. For these voters there is Form no 2 available on net and at the respective offices too. Notably, these particular voters can fill the form no. 2 with a prescribed amount along with a pass port size photograph. Moreover, if they want a new PVC ID Card they can apply for Form no; 8 and submit it along with a coloured photograph.
