A different and unique love story ‘Tashan-e-Ishq’ is all set to woo the television viewers.
The lead actresses of the daily soap Jasmin Bhasin and Vaishnavi Macdonald were here in Bhopal on Tuesday for the promotional activity.
While in a candid talk with the mediapersons, they talked about their respective roles.
Jasmin Bhasin is the leading lady of the soap as Twinkle and Vaishnavi is playing her mother’s character as leela Taneja.
Vaishanvi McDonald says, “I started my career with Zee TV’s show Chingari then Choti Maa and most recently, Sapne Suhane ladakpan Ke. So, it’s been a glorious rewarding association. In Tashn-e-Ishq, I play the role of leela Taneja, a role as different as can be from my character of Shail.”
Elaborating further, she says, “leela is an independent Punjabi business woman running her empire all by herself. The role is quite a departure from who I am as a person, so I am working harder to get the body language, the demeanour and tone right. It’s a completely new look too, so the audience is in for a surprise.”
“Even the Punjabi accent also needed homework and I got compliments on the first day itself. It’s a challenging role and I am certain that fans will love my new avatar,” she added.
Jasmin Bhasin on the other hand, says, “Really excited to be a part the show. The role I am playing is a part of who I am, so it comes very naturally. My character is of a fearless, feisty, kind-hearted and compassionate girl. Being a Punjabi, I’m well-versed with the culture and can easily relate to the character.”
This is Jasmin’s first Hindi project to which she says, “I am fortunate to get my first break as a lead with ‘Tashn-e-Ishq’. I am thoroughly enjoying every aspect of our shoot schedules and the process of making a show. With the show airing at peak primetime, I couldn’t have asked for more. I share a great rapport with all my co-stars and shooting with them doesn’t feel like work.”
She signed off saying, “I have great expectations from the show and I hope the audience will appreciate our creative effort”.
The show is being produced by Essel Vision Production ltd and would be aired from August 10.
