Nearly two and a half dozen constables have been found involved in a scam of recruitment racket. They have been deployed in Gwalior-Chambal division. The STF has arrested a constable Pramod Sharma posted in Maharajpura police station.
Another constable Ajay Pratap posted in Ambah police station district Morena surrendered before the STF. The Gwalior branch of STF has received a list of three more constables from Bhopal in this connection. The STF started its drive after the fraud of recruitment in constables organised by the State examination Board (Vyapam) came to light.
With the result that the fake constables and new constables have started missing from police stations and police training schools. The STF handed over Constable Pramod Sharma to the STF Bhopal. The STF Gwalior also sent another constable Ajay Pratap to Bhopal. After the scam of recruitment of constable was exposed three jawans from PTS Rew also absconded.
All the three belongs to village Dabka of district Gwalior. They belongs to Gurjar community. One of the accused is stated to have absconded from Indore PTS. Apart from that 11/2 dozen other jawans are also stated to have absconded. The police is searching them. The DSP STF Shailendra Singh Jadon said that the efforts are being made to arrest the jawans figuring in the list from Bhopal. The help of district police force is also being taken in this connection.
In another case the police arrested a nephew who had killed his uncle while he was irrigating his farm. The reason of murder is a dispute over division of land.
It may be stated that Guttialis Mohan Singh s/o GhanShayam Singh Yadav resident of Badagaon under Morar police station had a dispute of land with his nephew Guttan Alias Mahesh.
Due to the dispute Mahesh left his village and settled in his inlaws house in Firozabad. He came to the village day before and stayed at the house of Kundan. On Saturday afternoon when Gutti Alias Mohan Singh went to irrigate his farm Guttan Alias Mahesh came from behind and strangled him with electricity wire and put the deadbody near a tree. On receipt of information the police came to the spot and came to know about the presence of Mahesh.
Police immediately searched him and arrested him from railway station. Guttan Alias Mahesh confessed the murder of deceased. The TI Morar Ratnesh Tomar said that in the case of murder of Gutti Alias Mohan. The police arrested his nephew Guttan Alias Mahesh. The cause of murder is stated to be the dispute of land.
