The data of NCRB has added fuel to the politics of the state. In the report, the state has been described as the top in the case of rape of innocent girls.

State Congress President Kamal Nath had targeted the state government regarding these figures, after which on Wednesday morning, State Home Minister Narottam Mishra also retaliated saying that he has called Kamal Nath of defaming the State.

Home Minister Narottam Mishra was giving a regular briefing to the media on Wednesday. On Kamal Nath's tweet regarding NCRB report, Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra said that Kamal Nath's stand has been to defame Madhya Pradesh from the beginning. The idea of Congress has been to defame the country. Kamal Nath is still doing the same.

Mishra said that Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the case of girls, which has made a provision for capital punishment in the case of rape. So far 38 such people have been sentenced to death.

There is a women's police station in every district and a women's desk inside every police station. Six thousand girls who went missing in the state have been brought back.
