Nationalist muslims are with the BJP: Sanawwar Patel

In the wake of upcoming assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, the process of 'adjustments' of BJP leaders in boards and corporations is going on and on the same lines BJP spokesperson Sanawwar Patel has been appointed chairman of the MP Waqf Board.

Sanawwar Patel was elected unopposed as the new chairman in the waqf board's office. Prior to this, Sanawwar Patel has also been the Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Haj Committee and MP BJP Minority Morcha president. Patel met BJP state president VD Sharma after becoming the Chairman.

In the seven-member committee of the Waqf Board in MP, former MP Najma Heptullah, former minister Arif Aqueel, bar council member Ahad Ullah Usmani, Mutawalli Faizan Khan, social activist Sanwar Patel, Fatima Chowdhary from Bohra community and government official Dr. Inam ur Rahman as members.

On Thursday, the formalities of election to the post of MP Waqf Board were completed. Elected Sanwwar Patel as Chairman unopposed in the presence of Returning Officer Dr IK Mansuri and CEO Syed Shakir Ali Jafri.

Patel lashed out at former chief minister Digvijay Singh as soon as he became the Chairman, saying, "Muslims have told that they are not slaves of Diggi (Digvijay Singh)." Thanking Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan and BJP State President VD Sharma for the election of the Waqf Board Chairman, he said that he has done a great job by forming the committee of the largest organization of the Muslim community.

Digvijay Singh considers himself a contractor of minorities. He has a category of mutawalli in this election. In 38 votes, he used money power openly. Open hooliganism by trying to pick people up.

His candidate got only seven votes,  while the BJP's candidate got 31 votes. When the elections were held today, Digvijay Singh got many times MLA Arif Akeel boycotted.

There are so many senior MLAs, if a BJP candidate is getting five-six votes together, then they could have given consent. But when they could not find supporters, they boycotted it. The people of Madhya Pradesh will never forget this. Now whether it is the election of Mutawalli or the election of the chairman, the Muslims of Madhya Pradesh have said that they are not the followers of Digvijay Singh. Now the nationalist Muslim is with the BJP.
