National workshops on tantra shastra and ancient vedic science and on ‘Happiness’ and special branding strategy to make philosophy of Happiness popular among youths, were conducted at the working council meeting at Sanchi University on Friday.
At the meeting it was discussed that in the current scenario the Indian education system tradition of archarya is on the verge of extinction. In the classical method of disseminating knowledge these archaryas possessed different styles and would select capable student who would be provided with the knowledge possessed by these masters and at present very few such masters are left and Sanchi University want to conserve the knowledge possessed, study and teaching methods and systems with them. To achieve this Sanchi University would record discourse, notes, recordings and other works of these masters. For the conservation of this knowledge tradition, mediums like You tube and other mediums would be used. Sanchi University would work for the safety and conservation of personal library possessed by these Archarya. The dwindling interest of the youth in Indian and Budhic-Indic philosophy is a major challenge and to address the issue a comprehensive branding strategy would be worked which would include small, medium and long term strategy would be made to make the country a super power of knowledge and which would aim to make philosophy popular, useful and employment oriented producing the masters of knowledge.
