A national-level essay competition would be organised for the youth in a drive to establish statue of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. More than 50 lakh students, youth of different age groups in nearly one dozen languages of the country would participate in the essay competition centred on loha Purush Vallab Bhai Patel. In this connection, a run for unity race will be held on December 23, which was also informed in a meeting of Mandals.
According to the organising committee, 5,500 educational institutes have been identified to make this drive successful from where a sum of Rs 2.5 crore would be distributed to the participating students, youth and juveniles as incentive. The race would starts from Phoolbag to Maharaj Bada long photo colas of group photo of nearly 10 people of peoples representatives of village Panchayat level would be made the aim of this colas is to provide information of the people who helped in establishing statue of the Unity for coming generation.
Giving this information former Mayor Vivek Shejwalkar said that meeting of 1.87 lakh village Panchayats and 80,000 urban wards would be organised in coming to months with an aim that iron and earth would be collected from the villagers from every village.
