The National Beautician Day was observed on Saturday. An online event was organised on Zoom meet. President of Bhopal Beautician Association Sarita Shrivastava said that we have been celebrating this day for the last 11 years, but this year due to the corona pandemic, and under the orders set by the government, we organised this festival through Zoom Meeting.
The programme started by President Sarita Srivastava, by cutting the cake. Vice President Vijaya, Secretary Kulja, Member Reshma were also present.
The details of how the Beauticians Day was celebrated in a unique way with "11 years 11 unmatched ways", was given by Secretary Kulja. Then senior beauticians Raj Khera, Vandanajain, Sheela Kishore, Roopa,Raji Gopinath Meena Singh addressed and congratulated, while Poet Mamta Bajpayee recited her self-composed poem.
Asha Thakur, Vandana Srivastava added songs to the program and Madhu Tiwari, Deepti gave dance performances. At the end, last 2 minute game and Antakshari was enjoyed by all the beauticians.Sarita Shrivastava said that like every year, this year also two of our senior members were honored with "Lifetime Awards" for their outstanding services.
