Another interesting daily soap is all set to woo the Bhopalites. A thriller series Ye To Kamal Ho Gaya will be released on August 18 on Doordarshan Urdu channel. The series is directed by Jyoti Sarup. Notably, most of the shooting is being conducted in Bhopal and almost 13 episodes have been completely shot till now.
Interestingly, some actors featuring in the soap are from Bhopal. Sarup is renowned for his work in Buniyaad that was shot in 1986-87.
He has directed the multi starrer serial and till now it is known to be one the most popular series ever made in the history of Indian television.
Further, Sarup has directed a Kashmiri telefilm which later on received a National Award. The upcoming serial Ye To Kamal Ho Gaya is a detective comedy serial which would deal with various serious issues and cases happening in the country.
On asking about shooting in Bhopal, Sarup said, “Bhopal is full of tremendous scenic beauty. The script demanded such scenes so we chose to shoot in Bhopal.” elaborating further, he said “Artists in Bhopal are very talented and this would also give them a sturdy platform to act.”
