This time the national Autopsy Quiz Forense has been conducted at AIIMS Bhopal for the 4th consecutive year. There were a total of 45 teams from different medical colleges across the country have participated in the event. The teams from state like Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh Delhi, Gujarat, Maharashta, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan participated in the event.
There were total six rounds for the quiz and the last round was winners deciding round and that again comprised of five sub-rounds. There was neck to neck competition for all the rounds. However after the last round the teams from AIIMS Patna emerged as winner team, team from Gandhi Medical College came as first runner-up and teams from AIIMS Bhopal came as second runner-up.
Professor Sarman Singh, the director AIIMS Bhopal was the chief patron. Prof Arneet Arora was the organising chairperson, while Dr Raghavendra Kumar and Dr Jayanti Yadav where the organising secretaries. Dr Brinda, Dr Vivek, Dr Anuradha and Dr Avinash were the quiz coordinators.
Dr Alok Kumar Mishra, chairman of brain behaviour Research Foundation of India New Delhi delivered a guest lecture on the topic ‘Enhance your potential by knowing yourself’. The students and other audience appreciated the talk delivered by him. Jypee Brothers publishers and Distributors Private Limited was the official sponsor of the event.
Justice Giriwala Singh National Law Institute Bhopal was the chief guest for the inauguration ceremony. For the valedictory ceremony Dr Syed Naqvi the additional director general of police of Madhya Pradesh was the guest of honour and who distributed prices to the winners.
The different rounds of the quiz were conducted by Dr Raghavendra Kumar Vidua associate professor in the department of forensic medicine and Toxicology, Dr sandeep Singh from LN Medical College, Dr Jayanti Yadav, Dr Brinda and Dr Vivek conducted different rounds of the Quiz.
