BJP MLA from Maihar Narayan Tripathi might play spoilsport in the upcoming urban bodies elections in Satna.
The Vindhya Reconstruction Forum, formed for the demand of separate Vindhya Pradesh, is preparing vigorously for the urban body elections. The office-bearers of Vindhya Reconstruction Manch, the brainchild of BJP MLA from Maihar Narayan Tripathi, who is always in news by his dissenting actions in BJP, held five meetings in Satna on Tuesday and decided that they would field candidates for mayor and councilor in Satna Municipal Corporation of Vindhya Pradesh.
Instructions for similar preparations have been given to the workers of Rewa, Sidhi, Singrauli, Shahdol, Umaria and Anuppur. After the meeting held at five different places, it was also decided that the decision of the election would be taken by the local team only.
Sources in the region said that after the meeting held in the presence of Narayan Tripathi, the members of Vindhya Reconstruction Manch have almost started finalising the preparations. Soon Vindhya Reconstruction Manch can announce the names of its mayor and councilor posts.
If sources are to be believed, there are many options for mayor candidates in Satna, Rewa, Singrauli with Vindhya Reconstruction Manch.
Especially those who want tickets from the major parties BJP and Congress are included in this. It is believed that after the ticket is finalised, unhappy people often revolt and by cashing in on this rebellion, Vindhya Reconstruction Manch can field its candidate.
In the big meetings of the office-bearers of Vindhya Reconstruction Manch, it has been decided that now mayor will be fielded in Satna Municipal Corporation and councilors in 45 wards. After this the preparation for the second stage will take place.
Maihar MLA Narayan Tripathi, who is heading the Vindhya Reconstruction Manch has left the entire responsibility of contesting the election to the workers. After the meeting, Tripathi left for Jabalpur via Maihar. Now he will come back on June 12. After that the list of candidates for mayor and councilor will be released.
Today, in the meeting of Satna, it has been decided that by making in-charge of the civic-wise elections and taking the opinion of the observers, strong candidates can be fielded so that these people's representatives can strengthen the demand of Vindhya Pradesh in the future.
In Shahdol, Rewa, Umaria, Anuppur and Singrauli, preparations are being made to make the workers contest elections by giving responsibility to senior leaders.
