The re-elected Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Madhya Pradesh president and MP, Nandkumar Singh Chouhan has said that every party worker is the wealth of the party and the party is committed to protect their dignity. We would remain partners in their sorrows and happiness, he added.
Chouhan was addressing the party workers at Damoh on Wednesday.
Chouhan said, “Nobody is alien in the party, everyone is ours, every party workers should have the spirit that party is mine and I am of party because BJP is a worker-based organisation.”
Chouhan further said that as per the expectation of the Schedule Caste Morcha of the party now a post of general secretary would be provided from Mandal to State organisation to a member of this section of society.
He requested the party workers to reach to all sections of the society to make the party acceptable to all. “We are very lucky that today BJP Governments are ruling both State and Centre and there is compatibility for us but to attain this position generations from Janasangh to BJP have been passed. We should not forget their sacrifices, austerity and hard work,” he added.
He said that it is the result of sacrifices, austerity and hard work of leaders like late Kushabhau Thakre and Atal Behari Vajpayee that we are feasting and considering the party organisation our mother we should indulge in expanding it.
He hoped that in 2018 the party would return to power in the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan banking on the power of party workers and in the parliamentary election of 2019 Madhya Pradesh would play decisive role in the formation of Narendra Modi led BJP government at the centre.
The BJP State president also lauded the efforts of the women cell of the party and said that the party is taking many decision in the interest of fairer sex.
