BJP State president Nandkumar Singh Chouhan has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the recently-held G-20 summit, in China, brought laurels to the country by cornering the neighbouring Pakistan.
In a statement Chouhan said that the war of supremacy between India and China is well known. Without naming Pakistan, Modi targeted the neighbouring country and made ‘terrorism’ as the subject of discussion when the top leaders of 20 countries were in China.
In the G-20 summit, China felicitated Modi in front row, which has increased the status of India before the world.
Chouhan further said that India had the chance to be in the first row when the G-20 summit held in India in the year 2002.
Modi has given this privilege back to India after 14 years, this shows that China has come to know the importance of India.
This has certainly increased the influence of India. China has changed its outlook towards India and this should be understood that scenario is changing fast on the World forum.
Chouhan added that China posed as a hurdle for India in getting the membership of Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG), but China needs India’s support to get the membership of Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR). China knows that India’s
support could be crucial as India has the support of 34 countries.
Chouhan further added that China knows that India has befriended Korea and Vietnam is also close to India. In such a situation, when India is a major market, it is also
getting support from powerful and developed countries of the world. America has also supported India on important issues.
