Actress-turned-politician Nagma, while addressing a public meeting in support of Congress candidate Premchand Guddu in Gopal Mandir, compared Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to mythological characters Kans and Shakuni, who were known for their brutal conspiracies.
Nagma also raised a finger at the character of BJP candidate Chintamani Malviya and said that women had allegedly levelled accusations of harassment against him. She further added that innocent girls are being raped in Madhya Pradesh while Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan promises to be the maternal uncle of everyone. She also condemned Modi over his relationship with his wife Jashodaben.
listing the welfare schemes initiated by the Congress Government, Nagma praised the UPA government for its development works across the country. She also appreciated Guddu for his efforts which he had made for the public of Ujjain- Alote parliamentary constituency.
She said a “feku express” of BJP runs from Gujarat and another one runs from Madhya Pradesh, adding, MP ranks no. 1 in scams and crime against women.
Criticising Chouhan, Nagma said women were unsafe in the State under his governance. “Even a four-year-old girl is being raped in the State. In terms of crime rate and rape cases, Madhya Pradesh is no.1 in the country,” she said.
The State is also no less in scams. There have been mining scam, pension scam, Sugnidevi college land scam and the recent Professional Examination Board (PEB) scam, said Nagma. About 75 lakh families were affected by the PEB scam in the state,
she claimed.
MP Youth Congress president Kunal Choudhary, in his address, said that PC Guddu has become a name of fame for the city. He also counted the development projects including Vikram Udyogpuri to eradicate unemployment, for which he got approval from the Central Government. MP Guddu also addressed the rally.
