My daughter did not commit suicide but her senior Ashutosh Johre and his partners murdered her, claimed father of Shilpu, whose body was found in lemon Tree Hotel campus in Indore.
The body of 22-year-old Shilpu Bhadoriya was found on the floor outside the lemon Tree Hotel in Indore on August 7, suggesting that she committed suicide by jumping from her room in the hotel. According to the post-mortem report, her body had injuries inflicted with nails and she died due to suffocation.
While talking to media persons on Wednesday, Shilpu’s father Ramesh Singh Bhadoriya claimed that the police are trying to protect the accused Neeraj Dandotiya, who is one of the three accused persons who were in the hotel room. After seeing the hotel room, it was clear that the three tried to sexually assault her and when she protested they murdered her by strangulating with a pillow and then threw her body outside the room from window, he added.
He further claimed that she cannot jump from the hotel room in the presence of three men. He said, “I cannot get my niece back but the accused will destroy the liberty and respect of other women, if they did not get punished.”
He further said “The police have collected the condom and undergarments from the hotel room, but these things were not included in the investigation. During the incident, there was another woman but the police officials did not consider recording her statements during the investigation” added father of the victim.
He further told that he has lodged a complaint to the CM Helpline on September 6. “I have also met Home Minister Bhupendra Singh on August 18 and the DGP on September 3, but still there is no progress in the investigation of the case.”
In the case, the police have registered a case under sections 306, 201 and 34 of the IPC against three youths who were in the room at the time of the incident and arrested them. However, father of deceased has been demanding registration of a murder case in the incident.
