Music concert held in memory of Rajesh Khanna

The music lovers of the city witnessed the hit tracks of Bollywood’s superstar Rajesh Khanna in a musical concert here on Friday.Notably, a musical concert in the memory of Rajesh Khanna was organised at Samanvay Bhawan Auditorium here on Friday as a tribute to Rajesh Khanna. Organised by Samrat Sangeet Sadhna musical band, Bhopal the musical concert was held to mark the second death anniversary of Rajesh Khanna.

The concert began the song ‘Kahin Dur Jab Din Dhal Jaye’. Further, song of the movie Khamoshi ‘Who Shaam Kuch Ajeeb Thi’ followed the programme. Moreover the concert was followed some other super hit tracks that included songs like ‘Samay Tu Dheere Dheere’ ‘Tum Mera Kya loge’, ‘Zindagi Kaisi Hai Paheli’, ‘Dushman Na Kare’, ‘Zindagi Pyar Ka Geet Hai’, ‘Ek Ajnabee Haseena Se’, ‘Zubaan Pe Dard Bhari’.  The singers performed as many as 18 evergreen tracks of Rajesh Khanna were presented in the concert.

Singers Sunil Shukravare, and Naina presented the solo and duet songs at the concert. Being the wondrous presentation for the old music lovers, the show evoked a good response. With the presentation of more melodious songs like Yeh Shaam Mastani, Deewana leke Aaya, Mere Sapno Ki Rani, Rang Bhare Mausam, Chala Jata Hun, the listeners enjoyed the musical night with a lot of enthusiasm. The audiences were enthralled to watch the show. They enjoyed the programme whole heartedly and relived the golden era of Rajesh Khanna.

While talking about the concert organizer of the concert Milin Sharma said, “This concert was organised to give a tribute to the superstar of the industry Rajesh Khanna. His songs have remained evergreen tracks of all times so we thought what can be the best way to pay him homage on his death anniversary.”
