Habibganj police have arrested a man and his girlfriend who killed a 27-year-old youth in the month of October last year; accused was nabbed after he was trying to dispose head of deceased in the evening on Monday.
The accused in an inebriated state was found with severed head and seeing this, the women of the locality reached the police station after which murder of Shivdutt Bhalerao alias Shiva (27) was revelaed.
The accused was trying to implicate the head by throwing it in someone else's house. He did all this for his girlfriend. Girlfriend was also involved with him. The police have arrested both.
Habibganj police station in-charge Bhansingh Prajapati told that the women living behind the number 12 Sai temple reached the police station on Monday night. He told that the goon Shamsher alias Babbu, who lives in the locality, is threatening people in drunken state and screaming that he has killed Shivdutt Bhalerao alias Shiva (27) and buried him. A woman also saw a severed head in his hand.
The police took Shamsher into custody and interrogated him, he confessed to killing Bhalerao.
Shiva, accused Shamsher and his girlfriend Asha Thakur do all three paint jobs. Asha was in live-in with Shamsher. Asha's developed closeness to Shiva and he got suspicious that in his absence Shiva meet his girlfriend and decided to kill him.
Shamsher invited Shiva on the pretext of a party and killed and buried him.
