Berasia police have arrested five persons including two killers who murdered a 16-year-old youth in Lalaria village for stealing goats; killers colluded with three of their aides to sell the goats.
Police said that the accused were Shoaib and Raja planned to kill Zubair who used to graze the goats daily and would take the goats alone in the forest area.
The accused followed Zubair and took him near nullah and attacked him with a stick and later strangulated him to death.
Later with the help of Faiz, Fareed and Imran they took the goats to Shoaib's house in a vehicle. The three were not aware that Shoaib and Raja had killed Zubair in a bid to steal the goats. The three were told that the stolen goats would be sold and equal share would be distributed among them.
Raja revealed that if they would have only stolen goats Zubair could have reported and they might have been caught as Zubair was acquainted with him. Earlier police received the information about the incident at 6.30 pm on Sunday, after which police immediately reached the spot, the head of the dead body was crushed. The body was sent for postmortem and a case was registered against the unknown accused. The deceased was identified as Zubair Khan who left home at 10 in the morning on Sunday to graze the goats but failed to return and was later found dead.
