Top seers and intellectuals from different countries will sit together and discuss ways to make the world a better place at a seminar on ‘Mulya adharit Jeewan’ (Value based life) scheduled from April 17 to 19 in Bhopal.
The seminar is being organised before the religious congregation Simhastha (Kumbh) Mela to be held next year. While talking to mediapersons on Wednesday, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said the Simhasta will be held in Ujjain district beginning April 22 next year.
“This time around, seers and intellectuals drawn from different countries will meditate and come out with a declaration to make the world a better place to live in at the Simhastha Mela,” Chouhan told reporters.
He said that seers and intellectuals are going to prepare a draft over the problems besetting the world in the run up to the mega religious event and discuss it during the Simhastha. For this, a meeting of 106 such people, some of them coming from abroad, is being organised shortly, he added.
Chouhan said that preparations for holding the event are going on a war-footing adding that Rs300 crore has been sanctioned for security arrangements at the venue. He said that more than five crore people are expected to take part in the Simhastha Kumbh Mela.
To a query, Chouhan said that while finalising the seminar, he did not consider whether seers of other faith should be invited or not. However, among the invited experts, people from different faith are included.
