The crowded streets, hustle-bustle and lively atmosphere of the busy markets can be closely seen through the artist’s eyes in a multi-art exhibition. The exhibition of paintings, photographs and drawings is being displayed at Rangdarshini Gallery, Bharat Bhawan.

The young artist Satyabhama Manjhi has put up her creations before the Bhopalites.  The exhibition began here from Tuesday at Bharat Bhawan and is evoking a pretty good response by the art lovers of the city. “This is my first solo painting exhibition and I have dedicated this exhibition to my parents,” says the young artist. Hailing from Bhubaneswar, Satyabhama has been a consistent worker in the field of art. She has been in love with the art forms like painting and photography since she was a child. As Satyabhama lived in the internal areas of Bhubaneswar she has been experiencing the busy market streets and so she has showcased her experience and whatever she has witnessed on the market streets in her creations.  “My father too owes a shop at the main market at Bhubaneswar and so I have been seeing at the busy market streets since my childhood. As I was working over the theme of my paintings and drawings and photographs, I thought why not to take a concept from my real life incidents, whatever I have witnessed since my childhood. And this was really fun,” she added laughingly.

As many as 30 recent works of Satyabhama are being displayed at the gallery. Interestingly, the live scenes painted over the canvas added much zest in the creation and were much appreciated by the art lovers of the city.
