MPPEB: Cops enquiry against fake students slows down

Published on:

The police enquiry against the fake students of medical college has slowed down following the reply of Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB). The board has in a letter to the police replied that the documents of PMT examination for the year 2006 and 2007 have been destroyed.

With this the suspected students started to create pressure on the college administration and police. It may be noted that 116 students were stated suspected who took admission in medical college form 2006 to 2010. The legal action is being taken. The police have registered the FIR in the cases of the basis of the list submitted by the medical college administration but the police enquiry is not going ahead due to absence of documents. So the Challan against the accused are not being present after getting the reply from the professional exam board.

The police have decided to enquire the role of the board to see scandal or whether it is part of process of the board. In this case effective legal action would be taken against the officers of the board. The Addl SP Virendra Jain said that FIR has been registered against 116 students of GR Medical College. The police are enquiring the role of professional examination board. In this case so that further line of action could be decided on Tuesday the accused students of GR Medical College sat on dharna on the main gate of the college.

These students said that the GRMC administration did not hear our side before suspension. We are not therefore satisfied with the one sided action. Until our side is not properly heard we would sit on dharna because the college management has taken action of suspension that had nothing to do with the case.
