The Minority department of the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) has been shouldered with the uphill task of establishing unity among the various warring factions of the party.
MPCC minority cell chairman Mohammed Saleem while talking to The Pioneer said that he has accepted the challenge of making the impossible possible and is committed that the cell would emerge successful in establishing truce among the various warring factions of the party in the State.
“In order to strengthen the Congress party in the State, we would be bringing all regional satraps of the party on a single platform and for that, we are going to organise divisional goodwill conferences in the State. All the senior leaders of the State besides national leaders would participate in the conferences to be held at all the divisional headquarters,” Saleem said.
Saleem further said that the goodwill conferences would start from last week of this month and would conclude on June 10 in Bhopal. The central leadership has expressed faith in the cell for bringing all the senior leaders of the State on a single platform. “We are sure that we would accomplish the task with the cooperation of the seniors,” he added.
He said that the goodwill conferences have become necessary in the State and the country because the hate mongers under patronage from State and Central Governments are intending to divide the society through hate speeches and their acts. But we would work to unite the society and would not let them get success in their ill designs, he added.
The senior Congress leader said that religious heads of all minority communities would be invited in the goodwill conferences and we would also facilitate the talented youth of the minorities communities that include Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Jains and others.
