MPBSE: Separate rooms for H1N1 students

Published on:

Separate arrangements will be made at the board examination centres for the students suffering from swine flu or having its symptoms. Notably, Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has issued instructions to ensure separate arrangements at the examination centers for the students who if in case would be suffering from swine flu. The board has decided to make a ‘medical room’ for such candidates at the examination centres. Also a doctor would be present there to give required medical aid.

Shashank Mishra, Secretary, Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education, said, “The board exams are approaching fast while swine flu cannot be neglected. Therefore, we have decided to keep a separate room for such candidates, who can get immediate medical aid if required. This will be helpful in keeping other students unaffected while the affected ones can also conveniently appear for the examination.” Notably, with the continuous increase in the number of swine flu deaths, the board has decided to take a precautionary step and ensure separate arrangements for such candidates.

The medical room would be facilitated with medical aid of swine flu as an emergency help for the candidate concerned. The issued order has been sent to all the districts. It has clearly instructed that if any candidate would be suffering from swine flu then he or she would be shifted to medical room facilitated with medical aid. The higher secondary examination will start from March 2 and high school examination will commence from March 3. The board has already delivered the question paper sets in the district and now, head of examination centers are being appointed.
