The patron of ‘Madhya Pradesh Adhikari Karmachari Sanyukt Morcha’ (MPAKSM) Bhuvnesh Patel said that the MPAKSM would stage dharna on June 9 at Mantralaya in support of its demands.

Patel said that MPAKSM has agitated for the 71 point pending demands a number of times. Discussions were held with the government, but the outcome has been nil, he added.

While talking to the media persons here on Friday, Patel said that the protest was pulled back due to the Simhastha and as it is over now, once again the MPAKSM is en-route to protest until the demands are met. He also said that the MPAKSM will stage a one day dharna on June 9 in front of the Mantralay. It will be staged between 12 noon and 3 pm. Patel said that the permission to protest has not yet been granted.

If the demands are still not met the MPAKSM will call a meeting to decide on further agitation, he added.

The demands of the MPAKSM include the resolution of 71 point pending demands out of which 39 are financial and 32 are non financial, to initiate one rank one pay for all the employees of the State, to clear the pay anomaly between employees of Mantralay and State, pay scale and grade pay of the State employees equal to the employees of the Matralya, similar promotion opportunity, capital allowance for the employees posted in the capital city, urban allowance for the employees posted in districts and tehsils, rural allowance for the employees posted in villages and to initiate grading in divisions where there is no opportunity for promotion.

The State president of MPAKSM Jitendra Singh alleged that on the committee constituted to resolve the problem of salary of clerks there is one member who was previously termed illegal and he cannot be the legal president of the committee.

He further said that a delegation of MPAKSM will meet the Chief Minister and make him aware of all the facts.
