The Madhya Pradesh State Tourism and Development Corporation (MPSTDC) is now counted among the best tourism corporations of the country.
Having bagged the national award, Madhya Pradesh Tourism has always known for its upgraded services, new schemes and the comfort zone provided to its customers. Moreover, the inclusion of the B’Town and television industry, MPSTDC has become the talk of the town.
Recently, seven hotels of MPSTDC have been rated as three star hotels. Not only this, but 20 hotels of MPSTDC, highway treats, Boat Clubs, and other hotels have received the ISO Certificate. With this achievement the MPSTDC has become the best tourism corporations of the country.
Interestingly, till now no other hotel or highway treats or boat clubs of any other tourism corporation has received so many star ratings and ISO certificates. So with this achievement, MPSTDC has now become the only tourism corporation of the country to receive a number of ISO certificates.
Notably, 12 years before, MPSTDC was facing a terrible situation. The condition of the corporation was so awful that the corporation was planning to auction its properties. But launching better services and upgrading the facilities, MPSTDC has improved its market and has become the first choice of the travelling lovers.
In year 2003, 60 lakh tourists visited MP and till 2014 the number of tourists has increased to 6 crores which is a prestigious fact for the State development.
