Minister of State for Culture and Tourism Surendra Patwa while dedicating eight air conditioned rooms at Dodi Treat and new building at Handiya said that Madhya Pradesh would become the first choice of tourists in the country. Patwa said, “The State Government in order to promote tourism in the State is continuously increasing tourism facilities in the State and by increasing the making available world class facilities to the tourists, we would made Madhya Pradesh as the number one destination for the tourists.”
Patwa dedicated eight new rooms at the Dodi treat to pubic while in Handiya he dedicated the new building for the visiting tourists. He said that the hotel –motel service run by the Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation limited (MPSTDC) are getting very good response from the tourists visiting the State. During the last ten years, the State has registered tenfold increase in the tourist’s inflow in the State, he added.
He said that as per the wish of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan tourism facilities would be extended in the State for the tourism year 2015-16. The Minister also discussed the facilities provided by the Dodi Treat by meeting visitors at the open restaurant of the High Way treat at Dodi. The tourists lauded the facilities provided by the MPSTDC-run restaurant. The minister also took the occasion to announce Kala Talab of the Ashta as the tourist place and to provide Rs50 lakh for that besides, he announced that water sports would be introduced at the Dodi Talab.
